Multnomah Falls from Prindle, Washington
02/18/2008  | 4:00 PM  |  Gusting East wind, haze, 50d

  • Photo 1 most closely represents the image captured by the camera, which clearly shows the distinct blue cast of the often present Gorge haze.

  • Other photos received a quick edit in Photoshop CS2 to lessen blue hue.

  • Future photos will be taken under various weather conditions, different times of day, and with differing camera settings in an effort to truly capture the magnificence of Multnomah Falls from a Washington point of view.

  • More study is needed on photography under challenging conditions, such as Gorge haze
