About her life and work, Christina Brittain says: My working career have been diverse. I first worked at physical labor on janitor in a high-rise office building, and then as a construction crew leader. I moved on to social services as director of residential and employment programs for people with disabilities, then to administrator of WA state vocational training programs. And to education as equestrian instructor and college environmental education professor. And then to the corporate world as regional manager of ALCOA’s secondary metal operations in the Western US and Canada. In 1998, I gladly left corporate life to pursue the theoretical and practical study of two lifelong, passionate interests, human behavior and nature that led me to the study and practice of Reiki, soul revival (retrieval), positive partings, space clearing, and Celtic healing. I completed my doctorate doctorate in applied psychology/integrated ecology/ecopsychology with a focus on research, development, and practice of Nature Visioning, which integrates aware relaxation, direct contact with nature, and inner visioning into a process for arousing inborn wisdom to reveal genuine wellness needs. At EcoPlace, I guide individuals and small groups through Nature Visioning, and delight in watching participants unexpectedly discover their unmet desires, and then use their newfound knowledge to make exciting, advances toward enhanced wellness and joy. |
